Bring your dog for a “Meet & Greet”

All dogs who stay at Royuk Ranch, be it for doggy daycare, or a longer overnight boarding stay are required to participate in a Meet & Greet.

This visit will allow us to assess how well your dog fits in with our pack environment and gives them a chance to play with the other dogs in a safe and supervised environment.

The Meet & Greet doesn’t have to be all day, but this day will make a huge difference to your pet. Visiting us also makes Royuk Ranch feel like a familiar, fun place to be. This way, when your dog comes back to stay without you, they won’t feel as stressed or worried. As, Royuk Ranch is already a place that they know and like to visit!

Bring these items from home

Food - One of the most important things to remember when you bring your pet to stay at Royuk Ranch is their food. Dogs do best when their diet is consistent, and bringing food from home ensures they won’t experience any stomach discomfort while staying with us. We even suggest bringing extra in case your stay gets extended.

Medication - Bring any medications they need, packaged well with clear directions and dosage information.

Leash - All dogs visiting Royuk Ranch must be on a leash at all times for their safety until they are in their appropriate environment. We require all dogs to be in a quick release collar with proper identification.

Bowls - Feel free to bring their slow feed bowl if they typically use one.

You can also bring comfort items from home. I suggest bringing a blanket or stuffed animal that they normally sleep on so their kennel will have a familiar smell. This will help your pet relax and enjoy their stay at Royuk Ranch.

Leave these items at home

Feed and Water Bowls - Feel free to leave these at home as we have plenty.

Toys - Please leave all toys and bones at home. Dogs tend to be very possessive and protective of these items and we want to make sure all of our guests are happy and safe.

If you are unsure about an item, please feel free to ask our staff if it’s a good idea to bring it. We’ll be happy to answer any and all of your questions.
